Sparks Overland 4kW Portable Mini Gasoline Heater
High-output heat. Quiet operation. Built for larger camp setups.
Now standard with every Mini Heater
110V Wall Adapter + Sparks Overland Load Out Cube
The Sparks Overland 4kW Portable Mini Gasoline Heater is our higher-output option for customers heating large ground tents, wall tents, enclosed shelters, vans, trailers, and larger camp spaces.
For most rooftop tents, we recommend our 2kW Mini. The 4kW is intended for customers who genuinely need more output for larger spaces or colder conditions.
After more than two years of testing, refinement, and real-world use, we built this system around the things that matter most in camp: strong heat output, quiet operation, low electrical draw, simple setup, reliable altitude performance, and easy storage.
At its core is our Sparks-spec 4kW gasoline heater platform, integrated into our aluminum portable enclosure with a 1.9-gallon stainless steel fuel tank, premium fuel and electrical components, Bluetooth control, 75mm quick-connect ducting, and a complete accessory system.
And now, every Mini Heater includes both a 110V wall adapter and our Load Out Cube, giving you one organized place for your ducting, power cables, funnel, adapters, caps, and heater accessories.
Built for Bigger Spaces
The 4kW Mini is designed for applications where a 2kW heater simply doesn’t have enough reserve capacity.
It is an excellent match for:
- Large ground tents
- Wall tents
- Enclosed camp shelters
- Larger vans and camper interiors
- Trailers
- Hunting camps
- Ice-fishing shelters
- Off-grid cabins and workspaces
- Portable emergency heat applications
The additional output provides more heating capacity for larger interiors, greater heat loss, and colder conditions.
For small rooftop tents and compact sleeping spaces, the 2kW model will usually provide better modulation and temperature control.
Quiet, Powerful 4kW Performance
More heat shouldn’t automatically mean more noise.
The Sparks 4kW platform combines a brushless motor, refined fan control, and low-noise metering pump to reduce fan noise, vibration, and repetitive pump ticking commonly associated with portable fuel heaters.
The result is a higher-output heater that remains suitable for overnight use while providing significantly more heating capacity than our 2kW Mini.

90mm Quick-Connect Duct System
No pile of hose clamps. No rebuilding the duct system every time you set up camp.
The 4kW Mini uses our 75mm quick-connect hot-air duct system, giving the higher-output heater the airflow capacity it needs while keeping setup fast and simple.
The included expandable aluminum duct packs down compactly for transport and extends when it’s time to set up.
Attach the duct in seconds.
Run it into your tent or shelter.
Pack it back into the Load Out Cube when you’re done.
110V Wall Power — Included
Every 4kW Mini now includes our 110V AC wall adapter.
Plug the adapter into a standard household outlet and connect the heater through its 12V power input.
That gives you another way to run the heater when shore power is available at home, in a garage, at a powered campsite, or anywhere you have access to standard 110V AC power.
You still retain the included 12V vehicle-style power connection for portable and off-grid operation.
Sparks Overland Load Out Cube — Included
Portable equipment is only convenient if all the pieces stay together.
The included Load Out Cube is designed to carry the heater’s accessory system in one organized case.
Use it to store:
- Power cables
- 110V wall adapter
- Expandable 75mm duct
- Quick-connect fittings
- Fuel funnel
- Intake travel cap
- Small adapters
- Hardware
- Other heater accessories
Instead of cables, fittings, and ducting ending up in three different bins, the complete support kit stays together and ready to go.
Stainless Steel Fuel Tank
Inside the enclosure is a 1.9-gallon stainless steel gasoline tank designed specifically around the portable heater package.
We use metal rather than a basic external plastic fuel tank because it creates a cleaner, more durable, integrated system for transport and repeated field use.
The low-profile tank includes a dedicated fill point and pressure-management system and is securely mounted within the enclosure.
Gasoline-Specific Fuel System
The entire fuel system is configured specifically for gasoline operation.
That includes:
- Gasoline-compatible fuel line
- Metering pump
- Filtration
- Secure connections
- Integrated stainless fuel tank
- Combustion tuning designed for gasoline
The result is a compact system built around one fuel source from tank to burner.
Bluetooth Control
Control the heater without leaving your sleeping setup.
Bluetooth connectivity allows compatible heater functions to be controlled from your phone, including output and temperature adjustment.
You also retain the dedicated physical controller mounted directly on the heater.
Isolated Combustion System
The heater uses a sealed combustion circuit separate from the heated-air stream.
Combustion air is drawn from outside the heated space, while exhaust is routed externally according to the installation instructions.
The air being heated and delivered to your tent, camper, or shelter does not pass through the combustion chamber.
As with any fuel-burning heater, the combustion intake and exhaust must remain outside the occupied space and the heater must be operated according to the supplied safety instructions.
Premium Components Throughout
We didn’t build the 4kW Mini around the cheapest collection of parts we could find.
You’ll find details such as:
- Stainless exhaust components
- Muffler
- Sealed electrical connectors
- Quality gasoline-compatible fuel line
- Stainless fuel tank
- Silicone connections
- 75mm aluminum expandable hot-air ducting
- Quick-connect duct hardware
- Brushless heater motor
- Purpose-built enclosure and mounting hardware
They’re small details individually.
Together, they’re what make the finished heater feel like a complete system.
Assembled & Tested in Colorado
Each Sparks Overland portable heater is assembled, integrated, and tested in Colorado before shipment.
The heater core, enclosure, fuel system, wiring, duct connections, tank, and accessories are brought together as a complete Sparks Overland system rather than simply shipped as a collection of components.
Current Production Lead Time
Please allow approximately 4–6 weeks for production, plus shipping.

Why the 4kW Mini?
Because some camps really do need more heat.
The 4kW Mini is built for customers who want higher heat output for larger spaces and colder conditions while still keeping the portability, quiet operation, low electrical demand, and clean setup of the Sparks Mini platform.
Choose the 4kW if you’re heating a large ground tent, wall tent, shelter, van, trailer, or similarly sized space.
For most rooftop tents and smaller sleeping areas, we recommend the 2kW Mini instead.
You get the heater.
You get the stainless fuel tank.
You get the 75mm quick-connect duct system.
You get both 12V and 110V power options.
And you get a Load Out Cube that keeps the entire accessory system together.
More output. Same complete system.
That’s the Sparks Overland 4kW Mini.
